Jindrich Simek – Managing Director
The director and author of the new stage direction of the musical on ice, the global originality of which stems from the idea of bringing singers, actors, dancers and figure skaters together in a single project and letting the story of the musical take place both on stage and at an ice rink.
His professional career began in the ballet company of the State Theatre in Ostrava, where as a ballet soloist, he interpreted many characters. As a truly versatile artist, he was also a member of drama and operetta ensembles. He founded the Ostrava Pantomime Theatre in the 1970s and performed his comic show on tours not only all over the former Czechoslovakia, but also in Germany, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Austria and France.
Step by step, he worked his way up to choreography and direction of many different dramatic and theatrical genres. As a choreographer and assistant director, he has worked with a number of top Czech directors.
As a assistant director, choreographer, dancer and actor he has also participated idozens shows by Czech Television. During the 1980s he worked as a scriptwriter and director, also performing as a mime, on large-scale shows staged in Varna, Bulgaria (1981); Halle, East Germany (1986); Minsk, Belarus (1987); and Paris, France (1988, 1989).
Since the early 1990s, he has focused mainly on musicals:

2003 Romeo and Juliet, love story musical on ice, direction and script, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, Germany

In October 2005, he produced and directed the first European tour of America's most famous figure skating show Champions on Ice, which introduced exclusively European, world and Olympic champions. He wrote his own script for this show and called it The Planet of the Champions. This tour aroused enormous media interest and attracted large audiences in the Czech Republic.
In 2006 he worked as a scriptwriter and artistic director with Slovak JOJ television. He and his team prepared a series of fourteen live broadcasts of the family figure skating show Dancing on Ice, which were shown from September to December 2006.

Radka Kovarikova-Novotna - Project and Casting Manager
A Czechoslovak and Czech international with many years of experience, she and her partner, Rene Novotny won the world champion in pairs in 1995. They also became professional world champions in 1995 and 1997, ranking second at the world championship in 1992, winning silver medals at the European championships in 1995, ranking fourth at the Olympics in Albertville and seven-time national champions.
She and has appeared in the world's most prestigious figure skating shows such Holiday on Ice, Fantasy on Ice, Stars on Ice and Champions on Ice. She was the first to play the role of Nastenka in Fahter Frost, a fairy tale musical on ice, as well as the first star in Romeo and Juliet, a love story musical on ice, where she played the role of Juliet.
In addition to her professional figure skating career she focuses on casting figure skaters for film studios, advertisements, ice shows and musicals on ice. She also devotes her time to choreography and the training of gifted figure skaters. She has worked together with renowned coaches and choreographers Irina Rodninova, Sergey Ponomarenko, Marina Zajevova and Christopher Dean.
In 2005, she participated in the organization of the first European tour of American figure skating show Champions on Ice.
In 2006, she supervisid the family show Stars on Ice, broadcast by Slovak JOJ TV. As the casting and project manager of Intershow, she was responsible for complete figure skating casting, choreography and the training of all the stars and participants in this TV show.
